New to philanthropy? Join us for a conversation with others like yourself by the fire!

In 2017, St. Louis established one of 16 national chapters of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EPIP), a project of Tides. EPIP's mission is to empower emerging leaders and elevate philanthropic practices in order to build a more just, equitable, and sustainable world.

After a period of “hibernation” and with the enthusiastic support of Philanthropy Missouri, this program aims to gauge interest in reimagining a supportive space to emerging leaders that can open doors to new ways of thinking about philanthropy and investing in community - and ultimately - how to create a more just and equitable sector.

We will gather at Philanthropy Missouri, housed in the St. Louis Community Foundation Building in Oak Knoll Park. Doors will open at 4:00PM with time for socializing. Around 4:30PM, former chapter leaders Kristin Cowart and Alyssa Curran will share more about EPIP’s history (purpose, value, activities) then ask to hear from you about what is currently needed in the region.

Please share this invitation with any of your colleagues or those in your network who may be new to the field of philanthropy or consider themselves an emerging leader. We would love your help in reaching those who may not yet be connected with PhilMO and may not receive this invite!

Special collaboration appreciation to EPIP St. Louis and to our Members St. Louis Community Foundation for allowing the use of their space.
