Skaggs Foundation Funds Workplace Safety

Workplace violence has been on the rise in hospital systems across the nation, with the largest workforce base — nurses — among those most frequently affected. In response to the growing frequency of hospital workplace violence, the Skaggs Foundation has provided a grant of more than $132,000 to enhance the personal safety of emergency room nurses in Branson through a new personal panic button system.
