
Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Wealth Management at First Bank
Rich Ryffel serves as Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Wealth Management at First Bank.
He previosly served as Market Manager—Missouri for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In 2015, he accepted a full-time faculty appointment at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, where, in addition to teaching, he was responsible for creating and launching its Wealth and Asset Management master’s degree and related programs. His financial services career spans almost 30 years as an Investment Banker, Private Banker and Manager at A.G. Edwards, Bank of America and Edward Jones.
Active in the St. Louis community, he is a board member and immediate past President of the Normandy Schools Collaborative, serves on the board of Beyond Housing, serves on the Corporate Partners board at the St. Louis Art Museum, and remains a part-time member of the business school faculty at Washington University in St. Louis.
Rich has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Tufts University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Boston University.
