The St. Louis Community Foundation reported a record $117 million in grants to 2,300 nonprofits in St. Louis and around the world in 2020. It is the foundation's fifth straight year of record grants to nonprofits and represents a five-fold increase in grants to nonprofits since 2012 when it awarded $19 million. The foundation was one of the many local organizations that pivoted quickly to assist others in need during the height of the pandemic in 2020.
St. Louis Community Foundation is St. Louis's largest charitable trust and foundation ranked by grant volume in the past three years, according to a St. Louis Business Journal ranking.
