Celebrate the strength and potential of philanthropy.

Join Philanthropy Missouri for our 51st Annual Meeting event as we explore this year’s theme, Growth Mindset. We’ll celebrate and reflect on our first year of cross-state expansion, and consider what it means to adopt a Growth Mindset as individuals and philanthropy professionals charged-up for change.

This year's Annual Meeting will consist of two parts: A series of networking breakout groups at 10:00am, followed by the one-hour main presentation at 11:00am. During the pre-event networking, attendees will be invited to join small group breakout rooms for a guided conversation with fellow funders. We'll then take a 5-minute break and invite you to join the main presentation.

In order to create a more intimate atmosphere, the Annual Meeting is being convened for PhilMO Members and grantmakers only. We hope you will join us!

Keynote Speaker

This year's event will feature remarks by Marcus Walton, President & CEO of Grantmakers for Effective Organizations (GEO). As a certified executive coach and facilitator, Marcus has a decades-long track record of leading institutional change with community-based and philanthropic organizations. Marcus joined GEO in 2019, previously serving as the Director of Racial Equity Initiatives for Borealis Philanthropy, and as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Association of Black Foundation Executives (ABFE)
