JoJo Weatherspoon
JoJo joined Philanthropy Missouri in July of 2022. In her role she manages PhilMO's virtual and in-person programs, events, and Member services, including the resource archive. She also provides research assistance and produces What Gives? the bi-weekly newsletter. JoJo brings with her a deep love for the Midwest as she is a St. Louis native and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. She has also spent the last 8 years giving back to her community; working for a variety of local non-profits and also as an educator within K-12 classrooms.
JoJo and her husband Nick live in Ballwin, Missouri with their four children, two of which are dogs. They enjoy travel, sports, and taking full advantage of area state parks. JoJo is fiercely motivated to help create a more equitable and positive Missouri because it is her home and has her heart.
